The Education Winning Team, Dougherty County
The Dougherty County team focused on gang violence and teen pregnancy by showing the negative effects both have on education. They argued that positive mentoring from teachers and community leaders would result in the decrease of gang violence and teen pregnancy and increase the desire for quality education. They credited 4-H with being a great program for kids to be involved in to prevent these things from happening.
