
Program Objectives
Georgia 4-H, through the Georgia Rural Development Council, is sponsoring a grant program for Youth Summit County Teams to implement their county action plan in their local communities.
This grant program designed to assist county teams in accomplishing the goals they set while attending the 2008 Georgia Youth Summit.
Congratulations to the recipients of a 2008 Georgia Youth Summit County Grant:
Berrien, Calhoun, Effingham, Haralson, Bacon, Chatham , Cherokee, Cobb, Evans, Glascock, Harris, Jackson , Jefferson, Jenkins, Long, Madison , Oglethorpe, Spalding, Sumter, Taylor, Terrell, Webster.
The Georgia Rural Development Council and the Department of Community Affairs generously support this grant program. We hope that it will help launch the projects that these counties developed at the 2008 Georgia Youth Summit.
For accountability of the program, each team must submit a final report of activities and impact on the community within two weeks after completion of the county project. Upon receipt of the summary, teams will be awarded the final 50% of the funding.
