The Health Winning Team, Camden County
The Camden County team identified with Dr. Rodney Lyn, Professor, Georgia State University & Director of Policy Leadership for Active Youth. Dr. Lyn’s presentation highlighted obesity statistics, specifically childhood obesity. Their primary focus is on sponsoring free tennis clinics to underexposed children, ages 6-12, on courts throughout the county (they identified seven locations), providing these children with a lifetime sport that can support a healthy lifestyle throughout their lives.
