The Safety Winning Team, Lowndes County

Moved by the death of a classmate due to texting while driving, the Lowndes County team's project is to Stop ADD: Attention Decifit Driving. Lowndes County has a large number of deaths due to distracted driving, but no education programs to address the issue. The team plans to make flyers, posters, videos, give interviews to local radio station and put ads on billboards to raise awareness on the issue. Their long term goal is to appear on the Oprah Winfrey show to raise awareness about their project throughout the nation.
